20TH SUMMER CAMPS 2017 AULA DE LA NATURALEZA TAVIZNA

(Carretera El Bosque-Ubrique km. 24 , Cádiz)

The summer camps at the Aula are a space where children (6 to 16 years) can enjoy and acquire both environmental and cultural knowledge of a protected area, the Natural Park Sierra de Grazalema. Additionally, they will get a different view of how they can use their free time, getting to know and interacting with children of their age, in a relaxing  and natural 

OUR ACTIVITIES

We visit the Tavizna River

Walks through the environment observing the surrounding nature, learning about its peculiarities, discovering the aromatic plants, the carob tree, the Spanish fir, …

Cultural  visit  to  Zahara OPTIONAL: Canoeing at the recreational area “Arroyomolino” in Zahara de la Sierra (Company Zahara Catur S.L., Active Tourism Register AT/CA00045) €13 additional.

Thematic  workshops  Aromatic plants, beekeeping (the world of the bees), cheese making with Payoya goat milk, recycling workshop (soap and paper), fossiles, and others.

Candle    making   with   bee   wax.

Astronomy workshop and

observation of the sky. The animals of the  Natural  Park,  workshops  about the fauna of the environment, using signs and footpaths, information materials, etc.

Adventure activities in the nature: (Sports with low environmental impact): rappel,   zipline,   archerv,  swimming pool games and orienteering games.”

I’M A LITTLE COOK TOO:

We learn to make sweets with natural ingredients  (honey sweets, jelly sweets) and typical local sweets:

suspiros, tortitas and some gastronomical surprises.

Free time: board games, popular outdoor games, brainteasers, ping- pong, thematic library and swimming in our pool.

Games in the nature and animation:  orienteering  games, party night, re-creation of a Village Fair, story session, the big game “The Adventures of the Bandit Tragabuches”.

I LOVE ARTS & CRAFTS:

We do arts & crafts using leather (bracelets, pouches, …), thread (decoration   for   the   hair),   wicker (pencil holder), aromatic plants (air freshener).  We  paint  in  the  nature (using free drawing techniques in the nature).
